Kairos is a Greek word the ancients used to describe the right moment, the opportune time, the opportunity that should not be missed. Seizing the Kairos means recognizing a moment that will never return and then acting: that is where innovation is born, value grows, and the future can be built.
Among all the opportunities we’ve seized here at Autodop over the years, one in particular stood out in recent months — one we simply couldn’t let slip away: to share a closer look at what Autodop is, the idea behind its creation and who conceived it, as well as what it has fostered in terms of professional and human relationships. Benedetta Pisi and Silvia Montanari have been working for the past few months on the creation of Kairos, la forma delle scelte (Kairos, the shape of choices), a podcast that chronicles the founding of Autodop following the 2012 earthquake, gathering voices and testimonies that speak of perseverance, creativity, challenges, and human relationships within a corporate setting. Two episodes have already been released, and the third one is coming out tomorrow!
The first episode revolved around the theme of RESILIENCE, the second around the word CHOICE, and the third one — spoiler alert — will be a very different and dynamic episode, with CREATIVITY as its key word. Until the end of summer, about every two weeks, you’ll get to hear Benedetta and Silvia’s voices, but above all, you’ll be able to step into a story that, like all the wonderful things that happen to us in life, needs to find a space to be told. Stories that are never told cease to exist!
