WHAT IT DOES

Kronos is capable of palletizing and depalletizing cheese wheels onto pallets, following predefined or customized patterns based on specific receipt and shipping requirements. It is the ideal accessory to pair with the ERGON, DIONISO, or ARES loading and unloading machines to fully automate the process of placing and picking cheese wheels from the shelves. This combination completely eliminates operator strain and operates fully autonomously when integrated with AGV/LGV-type carts.

HOW IT WORKS

All you need to do is place a loaded pallet to be emptied and remove the empty pallet — or vice versa — using an electric pallet jack or a front-loading cart. The machine autonomously picks up and deposits all the cheese wheels. The supported pallet sizes are 25-cheese pallets (5 layers of 5 cheeses each) or 30-cheese pallets (5 layers of 6 cheeses each). The compatible pallet format is EPAL 800x1200 mm (~47.2" × 31.5”).

• Base made of painted steel or AISI 304 stainless steel with a translation unit for longitudinal movement.
• Palletizing robot that handles the molds with extreme precision and a compact size, enabling automatic palletizing even in confined spaces.
• Electromechanical gripper unit
• Automatic pallet changer unit that halves operating times, facilitating pallet pickup and drop-off, increasing productivity without interrupting the workflow.
• Electric steering device powered by a lithium-ion battery, ensuring easy movement and positioning between aisles.
